The short version: we collect your name and email when you fill out our design partner form, and we use Google Analytics to understand how people use this site. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

1. Who we are

Legio is a safety and security operations platform. This privacy policy applies to the website at getlegio.com and any forms or services hosted on it.

For privacy-related questions, contact us at privacy@getlegio.com.

2. What we collect

We collect two types of information:

Information you give us — when you submit the design partner inquiry form, we collect your first name, last name, job title, organization name, work email address, and any optional message you include.

Information collected automatically — when you visit this site with analytics cookies enabled, Google Analytics collects your approximate location (country/city level), browser type, device type, pages visited, time spent on each page, and how you arrived at the site (e.g. search, direct, referral). Your IP address is anonymized before it is stored.

3. Why we collect it

Form submissions — we use your contact information solely to follow up about the Legio design partner program. We will not add you to a marketing list or share your details with third parties for marketing purposes.

Analytics data — we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are most useful, where visitors come from, and how to improve the site. This data is aggregated and not used to identify individuals.

4. How long we keep it

Form submissions — we retain your contact details for as long as we have an active relationship with you or your organization. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so within 30 days.

Analytics data — Google Analytics data is retained for 26 months, after which it is automatically deleted. You can adjust this in your browser or by declining analytics cookies.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. The only third parties who may process your data are:

  • Google LLC — for analytics via Google Analytics 4. Google processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
  • Our internal team — the Legio founding team reviews form submissions to follow up with prospective design partners.

If we add additional service providers in future (for example, a CRM or email platform), we will update this policy accordingly.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your personal data.
  • Opt-out of analytics — decline analytics cookies using the cookie banner on this site at any time.

Visitors in Canada are protected under PIPEDA. Visitors in the European Economic Area and UK are protected under GDPR. Visitors in California are protected under CCPA.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@getlegio.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

This site uses cookies only for analytics purposes. No cookies are set until you accept via the cookie banner. If you decline, no cookies are placed and no analytics data is collected during your visit.

If you previously accepted and wish to withdraw consent, clear your browser's cookies for this site — the banner will reappear on your next visit, allowing you to decline.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any cookies unrelated to analytics.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform and its services evolve. The date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last revised. Material changes will be noted here. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
